Farewell
It is with great joy and sadness that I must inform you and your children that I am stepping down as Cub Master of Pack 180. I have truly enjoyed each and everyone of your children that I have had the privilege to get to know. They have brought me much joy watching them grow and change over the past several years. I especially enjoy their silly comments and inquisitive minds. Sadly, my own boys are growing up quickly. I blinked and Peter will be off to college next year, Tommy will be a senior, Steven a freshman and Matthew will hit middle school. It too, will happen to you. Saver each moment. Scouting could not be a better way to do so.

Friday we had our Blue and Gold Dinner. I want to thank the Brongers for putting together a great celebration of Cub Scouting. We had entertainment from an Eagle Scout Magician, Jeff Leonard.

I would like to thank all the parents who helped make this a very successful Pinewood Derby. I hope that all the boys had a good time.
Although we do not have the final total of the Friends of Scouting Cake Walk, it to, was a very successful fund raising activity. Thank you all who donated their time and money to the program.

Last night we had our Arrow of Light ceremony. We had six boys achieve the highest rank in Cub Scouts. They all worked really hard to accomplish this goal.

This week we start our Biggest Fund Raising event of the year… Popcorn. Last year we did an excellent job selling popcorn. This allowed us to have a great program for the boys.

We had another great event on Saturday with our bike ride on the Hilliard Historic Bike Trail. Several families join us on the ride. Many of the boys
